Welcome to my website. I am Keith Rocci, the Library Department Head for Pima Community College's Distance Education program. When I was hired back on July 1, 2015, my main charge was "to create a comprehensive distance education program for Pima’s library services, pulling together existing and new resources to ensure that distant education students are aware of and utilize library services and resources that support student learning and success. This position will require someone who has an enthusiasm for experimentation with emerging technologies and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment."

- Develops methods for delivering library materials and services to Distance Education students and faculty;
- Ensures that needed services identified in the planning process are provided to Distance Education students and faculty; and
- Promotes library support services to Distance Education students and faculty.
- Virtual reference services (ask a librarian, personal chat widget, telephone, and email)
- Designated Distance Education librarian (Keith Rocci) with other campus librarians providing back-up support
- Librarians “embedded” by teaching faculty within course management system to provide instruction, guidance and services to students.
- Virtual office hours (10 hours each week)
- Handouts, research guides, title lists available on the library website or within D2L course management system
- Pathfinder and course readings design
- Course specific tutorials designed with Articulate 360
- Delivery of electronic and print books, articles and media
- Virtual library instructional sessions
- Library assignment instructional design
